BIO

Simon Fässler is a Swiss photographer. He received his Master in Architecture from ETH Zurich in 2014 and participated in a workshop in documentary photography at the International Center of Photography ICP in New York in 2017. In 2023, he was selected for the ICP Masterclass in Visual Storytelling, from which he graduated with honors. Before working as an independent photographer, he practiced in architecture offices in Zurich, Berlin, and New York. Today, Simon works for architects as well as for editorial clients. In his personal projects he focuses on sociocultural topics and follows strictly the ethical standards of documentary practice.

Simon works on projects worldwide and is currently based in Zurich.

Simon Fässler ist ein Schweizer Fotograf. Er schloss 2014 seinen Master in Architektur an der ETH Zürich ab und absolvierte 2017 einen Workshop in Dokumentarfotografie am International Center of Photography ICP in New York. 2023 wurde er für die ICP Masterclass in Visual Storytelling ausgewählt, die er mit Auszeichnung abschloss. Vor seiner Tätigkeit als freischaffender Fotograf arbeitete Simon in Architekturbüros in Zürich, Berlin und New York. Heute arbeitet er sowohl für Architekten als auch für redaktionelle Kunden. In seinen persönlichen Projekten fokussiert er sich auf soziokulturelle Themen und hält sich streng an die ethischen Standards der dokumentarischen Praxis.

Simon arbeitet weltweit an Projekten und lebt derzeit in Zürich.
